HP/Agilent Testjet

This series is used to check manufacturing defects on PCBs without applying power to the device. The system is fitted on both the top and bottom side of the test fixture either using plug-in spring probes or foam blocks.

Unpowered Opens Express

An alternative to Testjet, which uses similar methods to make the test. However, the spring probes fit to the amplifier PCB by means of a plunger tip spring fitted onto a screw thread. This allows more compliance during operation.

HP/Agilent Polarity Check (Capscan)

Used in ATE fixtures to detect reversed polarized capacitors during PCB tests. Capacitor types can be electrolytic, tantalum or aluminium in both axial and SMT. We can supply either spare parts or the finished assembly for easy fixture maintenance.

Insulated Head Probes

Insulated head probes are used for circuit board component lead detection and testing. The insulating tip is raised slightly higher than the metal serrated tip. During test, if the component lead or connector pin is set correctly, the electrical contact will be made. Pins absent or misaligned will cause the insulator to make contact
first and fail the test.

ATE Travel Indicator Probes

A useful series of devices for measuring the travel at any probe position in a test fixture. After the PCB is fully down onto the probe field, the indicator probes remain compressed. The change in length indicates the travel. Do not insert into the receptacle by pressing on the plunger!
