Pinned plunger stops tip rotation which allows probing of connector pins in recessed slots.
PD1 Series The PD1 series probes have a pinned plunger to stop tip rotation. This allows the probe to access a connector in a slotted connector housing. PD2 Series These probes have a pinned plunger to stop tip rotation. The bladed probes PD2BL-016 and PD2BL-039 allow access to test points recessed into narrow slots. The rectangular serrated tip of the PD2H is able to provide easy contact to a blade connector which is recessed.
